Explore the Bridleways of the Chalke Valley

This map offers a taste of the many bridleways criss-crossing the beautiful Chalke Valley, right in the heart of the Cranborne Chase National Landscape. It’s not a complete catalogue of every trail in the area, but it highlights a generous helping of routes around villages like Broad Chalke, Alvediston, Bowerchalke and Berwick St John.

We’ve focused on the Chalke Valley here, so it doesn’t extend as far south as Martin Down, or north into the equally brilliant Nadder Valley - both of which offer even more glorious riding if you’re up for exploring further afield.
